The wards break, and as they do they wake me. It's a funny sort of pinging, like elastic threads snapping in half across the inside of your skull, and it gets to the point where you just want it to stop so you can close your eyes and ears and go back to bed, because it's a Saturday and you don't have classes or work so please can't you just sleep? I can't, of course, and so I reluctantly roll out of bed and try to ignore the tension already winding itself into my muscles. Medallion Woes

Argh. Just when I think that I'm done with my wonderful aggravation of a book, I feel the need to revise and fix it. So that's what I'm doing. I'm going back and fixing continuity and stylistic problems. And it's driving me CRAZY. But that's not what I'm writing about. Nope, I'm writing about Aora. Who's Aora? A character. From where? My book, of course! Why am I writing about her? BECAUSE SHE'S DRIVING ME CRAZY! She's enigmatic, cold, and very hard to get a handle on. She's my favorite character but she's not a very important one. Which is annoying, to say the least. So... any ideas? Any insight? How can I ease my frustration?
